Real World Value (RWV)

Real World Value (RWV) is the umbrella for what Flashy rewards redeem into: real-world assets, services, and experiences.

Real World Value (RWV) is the destination of the For-Gold economy. It is the umbrella term for everything Flashy network rewards are designed to redeem into, spanning three categories: Real-World Assets (RWA), Real World Services (RWS), and Real World Experiences (RWE).

The term exists to draw a hard line between the Flashy model and reward systems that terminate in points, badges, or tokens with no exit. A reward has Real World Value when it can leave the screen — becoming something owned, something done for you, or something lived. RWV is the standard every Flashy reward is measured against.

In the network's vocabulary, the sixteen For-Gold verbs describe how value is earned; RWV describes what that earning is ultimately for.

Common questions

What are the three categories of RWV?

Real-World Assets (things you can own), Real World Services (things done for you), and Real World Experiences (things you live through). Together they cover everything Flashy rewards are designed to redeem into.

How is RWV different from ordinary loyalty points?

Loyalty points usually redeem into more of the issuer's own products, or expire unredeemed. RWV is defined by redemption beyond the platform — into assets, services, and experiences in the real world.
